Elsewhere, the potential exists forrainfall totals to exceed 1-2 inches.Therefore, there is an increasing risk for ponding of water,flooding of urban areas, roads and small streams. Life threateningflash flooding and mudslides are possible as well. Some rivers willlikely overflow their banks.
